BLACK BOX COMIX - An Independent Comic Book Company

The early part of summer has been pretty busy for Black Box Comix.  And the end of the year isn't even sight.  That's a good thing as we have rallied from the Stumptown Comicbook Fest '09.  That is not saying it was a bad show.  It just didn't have the fire that we had experienced in the past.
But things have moved into high gear as the option of going to the Spokane Comicon '09 came to light at the end of May.
The show was small but packed with every kind of comic related type of thing.  People in serious costume, mainstream books, alternative press comic vendors, and five or six comic book store retailers from around the area.  A good show over all and many thanks to Darkslinger Comics for letting us hitch on to their table.  Thanks guys.
As this year has continued on it found Black Box Comix venturing into the state of Washington quiet a bit but it would not be the last time we would be traveling there.  Two weeks later, Black box Comix found itself in the state capital of Olympia for the 8th Olympia Comic Festival '09.  A small venue but fun nonetheless.
Black box Come had come into its own as a original piece of art work was sold and all of the reordered Pandora's Garage Vol. 5 was sold out.  Some of this particular volume was placed in Comic shop.
Now sometime mid july I will be heading back up to puyallup and Comic Evolution for a charity event "Super Babies" for the March of Dimes.  There will be a silent auction for original artwork and other.
So like I said there is a lot happening and the year isn't even over yet.
Like I said earlier this year that I felt they things were going to change for the better.  I think it has just arrived.
And if you can’t find our books there but are wanting to pick them up you can check outCosmic Monkey Comics , Floating World Comics, and Comic-Evolution.
